vision2020 - The flexible and innovative society

In March 2004, the Danish government in light of a broad based concern that there will be no high paying jobs left for the Danes in the future chose to set up a commission to deal with the challenges of globalisation and offshoring of jobs to low wage countries. As part of the terms of references, the commission were to formulate a vision for Denmark in 2020 and a strategy for how to achieve this vision.

The present paper is an executive summary of that vision and strategy.
